The weather is fine again, the rain has stopped at last. And what is the best way to spend time in summer? We prefer to make a trip to the mountains. The local people have a habit to call them “gorby”.
So the decision was made and we met near the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk and bought tickets (at 7:10) for a bus to Yaremche (at 7:00). In such a way our trip began. The destination was Yaremche and our aim was to climb Yavirnyk.
At last we got to Yaremche. We went along the road to the well-known bridge and turned right..
Then we crossed the village Bagrovets, went to the polonyna (plain) Yavir and then to Yavirnyk.
We were charmed by the beautiful views and landscapes.
Somewhere near Bagrovets we saw a waterfall and there was a nice bridge over the river with the decorations in the form of the Olympic rings.
We went across the forest and the route, we followed, resembled the one to the mountains Khomyak and Synyak. Then we reached a little plain. It was magnificent. There was a lot of sun and space. During our way to this plain we could taste wonderful blueberries which were very sweet and juicy.
On our way we met the tourists. They were having rest near the tent. We spent some time with them and then went on.
In some time we reached the peak of Yavirnyk. The views around were amazing, the landscapes were so beautiful.
Then we started our way back home. The trip was fantastic but it is difficult to describe everything in words. It is much better to pass that way, to get sunburnt, to get wet because of the rain and to come back home, tired but happy.
