Tragedy in two acts “Romeo And Juliet”
You think that it will be boring… You think that hackneyed classics awaits you… crying, snivels, forcing atmosphere, everyone dies, br-r-r-r… You wonder what else new can be played in the very Shakespeare…
These had been my approximate thoughts when I was going to the performance, but interest and my love to the theatre came over. There was also interest in the possibility to compare theatre from Kyiv with our Frankivsk theatre.
I must say that I’m not going to give a comparative characteristics here. If you want comparisons and matching then go yourself and see all the moments and details. You are welcome to compare as much as you like.
As for me, I think that it’s worth going. Even if you are going to go with the aim of comparison. You won’t regret. I can guarantee you two hours of emotions. You won’t know till the end of performance if the stage director has made any changes in Shakespeare’s play.
Favourite actors, famous quotes and music are the integral part of the evening.
I love our theatre for its atmosphere, permeated with warmth of actors and gratitude of audience. All the spectators together stand up and applaud, applaud, applaud, and it doesn’t matter how many people have come to the theatre.
Good theatre impressions for you!
